Czinger unveils groundbreaking 21C production specification vehicle
Exclusive Performance Car Uses Innovative Design And Manufacturing Technologies
Czinger, the trailblazing company that uses an in-house invented Human-AI production system to build state-of-the-art high-performance vehicles, unveiled today its final production spec 21C hypercar. The 21C expresses the apex of Human-AI creativity.
The Czinger 21C, the first model in a series of exclusive performance vehicles – production will be limited to 80 cars – was created in part using additive manufacturing technologies. Each component manufactured using this technology is computationally engineered using AI, optimized for weight and performance, and is beautifully finished by hand. Czinger’s proprietary manufacturing technologies, in-house developed powertrain, and iconic design will guide its future family of vehicles.
This new hypercar showcases significant updates since its first public introduction in March 2020 ahead of the cancelled Geneva International Motor Show, including an updated width of 2050 mm. With 1250 hp and a dry weight under 1240 kg, the 21C achieves a true 1:1 power-to- weight ratio. It also features all-wheel drive with a strong hybrid powertrain that includes:
An in-house developed 2.88-liter, flat crank V8 with twin turbos located mid-vehicle
Two high output electric motors, each powering a front wheel with torque vectoring
An ultra-light, sequential seven-speed automated manual transmission gearbox
Total output of 1250hp redlining at 11,000 rpm (A 100hp upgrade is offered providing 1350 hp)
The 21C V8 is designed to use a range of fuels, including carbon recycled methanol and other e-fuels, so it can be run as a zero emission vehicle
The 21C’s hybrid powertrain uses the world’s most power dense production IC engine as its foundation. It is a 2.88 liter, flat-plane crank V8 with twin turbos located mid-vehicle. The V8 is coupled with an 800V electric drive and regen system. An e-motor drives each front wheel and the batteries are charged during operation both through regenerative braking and a Motor Generator Unit (MGU) using a gear drive that is attached to the IC engine. The total strong hybrid system delivers a peak output of 1250hp (1233bhp).
The hypercar has a top speed up to 281 mph in optional low drag vmax configuration. Putting the driver and passenger in the center position for ultimate weight distribution, aero and driver engagement, its quarter mile time is 8.1 seconds, and it goes 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) in 1.9 seconds; 0 to 186 mph (300 kph) to 0 in 13.8 seconds and 0 to 248 mph (400 kph) to 0 in 27.1 seconds; 0 to 186 mph (300 kph) in 8.5 seconds; and 0 to 248 mph (400 kph) in 21.3 seconds. It has a >3:1 Lift / Drag Ratio with 615 kg downforce @ 100mph and 2,500 kg @ 200mph (high downforce configuration).
The hypercar is designed, built, and manufactured in Los Angeles using cutting-edge technology tools that are integrated into a patented production system. This system includes automated AI based design and optimization software, patented additive manufacturing driven processes, high accuracy automated assembly and novel performance materials. This revolutionary technology enables Czinger’s design and engineering team to unlock performance and styling not before seen in the automotive industry.
Computationally engineered, printed and assembled, each component is at the frontier of theoretical performance. For example, the front upper control arm is hollow with internal structures allowing it to achieve significant mass savings compared to a traditional tooled variant, thereby greatly reducing un-sprung mass and further driving the 21C’s dominating performance.
The 21C is highly customizable both from a specification and individual personalization perspective. Presented in two fully homologated specifications, a lightweight high downforce configuration and a low drag configuration, both cars are powered by Czinger’s in-house powertrain and display its iconic design language and in-line seating architecture.
Czinger first unveiled its groundbreaking 21C in 2020 and confirmed that its halo hypercar is just the start of a family of exclusive performance vehicles created for the 21st century – all using the company’s in-house developed design and manufacturing technology and proprietary drivetrain.

McLaren Customer Racing takes track performance to a new level with the 720S GT3X
720S GT3X developed by McLaren Customer Racing for track use only, without restriction of motorsport regulations
Based on 720S GT3 race car, but not homologated for racing
Hand-built, twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 develops up to 750PS
McLaren Customer Racinghas confirmed that an unrestricted version of its 720S GT3 race car, the 720S GT3X, is available to order through the McLaren Motorsport Retailer Network. Designed and developed in-house by the motorsport arm of McLaren Automotive, the GT3X is for track use only but is not homologated for any racing class or championship. Without the need to comply with competition regulations, increased levels of power and performance have allowed McLaren Customer Racing to further exploit the chassis and aerodynamic characteristics of its latest-specification, race-winning 720S GT3 to optimise circuit driving enjoyment.
Pioneering in the field of lightweight and safety in motorsport, McLaren introduced the first all-carbon fibre chassis to Formula 1 in 1981 with the McLaren MP4/1. Since then, carbon fibre has been at the core of every McLaren and the 720S GT3X features the MonoCage II chassis that provides a strong, light and safe environment for its occupants.
Performance comes from a hand-built 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged engine, optimised to combine features from the 720S road car and the 720S GT3 race car. Coupled to a six-speed sequential motorsport transmission, a unique version of the M840T engine features a blueprinted cylinder head, strengthened pistons, ‘Diamond Like Carbon’ (DLC) coating and a lightweight performance exhaust system. The track-focused components and systems deliver the same 720PS (710bhp) as the road car, with a further 30PS (30bhp) boost function available to the driver through a steering wheel-mounted ‘push-to-pass’ button.
The lightweight 720S GT3X tips the scales at just 1,210kg (2,668lbs) and displays the extreme weight-saving efforts that have been taken into consideration to remove all non-essential or luxury items where possible, leaving the driver with just what they need to extract the best performance. Each of these measures combine to give the 720S GT3X a power-to-weight ratio of 620PS*-per-tonne.
The development programme has seen a focus on pure engineering, innovative aerodynamics and efficient design, with thousands of track kilometres covered across Europe and the Middle East. Freed from sporting regulations, the 720S GT3X is a performance-optimised version of the already-bespoke GT3 race car, with the bodywork’s flowing lines developed using ‘Computational Fluid Dynamics’ (CFD) and Formula 1 wind tunnel technology. The aerodynamically sculpted shape is hand-finished in metallic MSO Carbon Black paint. A refined pinstripe in heritage McLaren Orange – a nod to the historic race-winning McLaren Formula 1 cars of the 1960s – accentuates the lower edges of the ground-hugging body shape and the outer rim of the gloss black centre-locking wheel rims, while an ‘X’ graphic stretches across the upper canopy.
The stripped-out cabin features extensive use of lightweight carbon fibre and is designed around outright track performance and functionality. A carbon fibre and Kevlar FIA-approved race seat hugs the driver, while the pedal box and steering wheel adjust to ensure the perfect driving position. The ergonomically-designed race steering wheel is fitted with all key functions via intuitive rotary switches and buttons meaning everything is at the driver’s fingertips. Thrill-seeking friends can also experience the speeds and exhilaration of being on a track as the interior of the 720S GT3X has been designed to accommodate a fully safety-compliant race seat on the passenger side of the cabin, complete with six-point race harness. Modifications over the race car include a revised design to the roll-cage to accommodate a passenger without compromising on safety and enhanced crash structures around the occupant safety cell.
In addition to delivering a new type of performance on the track, the 720S GT3X delivers a new level of ownership experience. As part of the purchase and ownership package, McLaren Automotive can provide dedicated technical track support for each owner. This programme is carried out by the customer support engineers from the in-house McLaren Customer Racing division – the team that has designed and developed the model alongside the 720S GT3 global customer race program.

The brief for the GT3X project was to unleash the full potential of the 720S GT3 car using a massively increased power output to fully exploit the aerodynamics and chassis dynamics of the car. Additionally, the car is now able to carry passengers for the first time, thanks to the re-design of a new bespoke roll-cage and passenger seat installation. Brake cooling has also been improved to cope with the additional demands of increased speed and the mass of a passenger.

For the ninth consecutive time, Jaquet Droz is proud to donate a unique piece of its own creation, designed exclusively for Only Watch, a charity sale to benefit the Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies (Monegasque Association against Muscular Dystrophy), and featuring a degree of technical ambition and aesthetic never-before achieved: A Grande Seconde Skelet-One Tourbillon adorned with a plique-à-jour enamel dial.
The original idea was to extend the initial purpose of the Grande Seconde to provide its owner with the finest and most accurate reading of the seconds—hence its largely dimensioned and off-center dial at 6 o’clock, exclusively dedicated to this effect. How could this precision be achieved? By adding a tourbillon. This escapement, itself a genuine watchmaking complication, aims to compensate for the harmful effects undergone by a timepiece that performs across multiple planes, all subjected to the force of gravity which alters its precision.
The tourbillon of the new Grande Seconde Skelet-One Tourbillon “Only Watch” was born of Jaquet Droz’s in-house expertise, but entirely reworked in the purest chronometric approach. Thanks to its realization in titanium and the elimination of the sapphire bridges, the cage has been lightened and optimized with regards to its chronometric functions. The balance spring and pallet lugs are made of silicon. Highly open to let light pass through, the tourbillon gives the illusion of being both large and lightweight all at once. Completely revised and placed at noon, it accords the piece a dedicated identity of strength and technicality.
The underlying aesthetic architecture is as technical as it is unique. The skeleton structure is brand new: while the original Skelet-One favored soft and supple curves, the Grande Seconde Skelet-One Tourbillon “Only Watch” focuses on straight lines, angles, modernity and perfect symmetry. This very contemporary skeletonization is as technical as its highly precise tourbillon movement can be, furthering the technical and aesthetic consistency of the piece. Its bridges, finished in black, confer a powerful matte appearance. The tourbillon cage follows the geometry of the skeleton movement, with a triple cross shape which, once a minute, aligns perfectly with its bridges.
For Only Watch, Jaquet Droz put to work its Ateliers d’Art as well, in order to produce a highly exclusive plique-à-jour dial, made specially for the famous charity sale. Once again, whereas the Maison’s most recent plique-à-jour creations featured curves and soft, slightly domed lines, the Skelet-One Tourbillon “Only Watch” is made up of various straight and geometric sections separated by white gold, thus forming a dial which has been entirely polished flat. The Maison achieved this unprecedented result by applying an extremely fine diamond powder polish to each area of the enamel, the only kind capable of achieving this thickness.
Every tone of enamel has been painstakingly selected for the model and fired at a very high temperature several times in a row. The choice of these colors therefore owes nothing to chance: a color chart was proposed by Only Watchassociating different tones with certain characteristics. The Maison thus translated these variations of red, orange and yellow into an expression of happiness, passion, optimism and even energy—all values that support the cause championed by Only Watch.
An aesthetic and technical achievement, the first Grande Seconde Skelet-One with tourbillon, the first with plique-à-jour enamel, a new geometry of skeleton movement, a fully updated tourbillon… the Grande Seconde Skelet-One Tourbillon “Only Watch” is many things. It’s also the perfect match between an age-old complication and craftsmanship on the one hand, and an eminently modern technique and geometry on the other. A rare, precise balance, like any Jaquet Droz timepiece, which foreshadows all the ambitions of the Maison’s future Skelet-One collection.

LUMIPOD, the small prefabricated curved cabin designed to connect with nature
The French company LUMICENE has designed ‘LUMIPOD’, a prefabricated module designed to offer urbanites an idyllic retreat in a cabin in the middle of nature. The concept behind the project aims to allow people to reconnect with natural landscapes, achieving this thanks to a large glass facade of 5 meters in diameter that can be opened to the outside.
The LUMIPOD plane is enclosed in a simple circle only 5.45 m in diameter. In this small space of 17 m2, everything you need for a short stay is projected, including a bedroom, a bathroom and a shower.
BETWEEN INDOORS AND OUTDOORS
LUMIPOD is built around a LUMICENE® window. This new concept uses curved glass in aluminium frames sliding between two rails, allowing the interior space to be occasionally transformed into an outdoor space.
Closed, LUMIPOD is a comfortable cocoon but fully immersed in Nature.
In a single gesture, LUMIPOD eliminates the boundary between interior and exterior for an unforgetable experience.
With the installation of a curved LUMICENO window that occupies most of the space, the compact area aims to immerse visitors in nature. The curved glass is placed in aluminum frames that slide between two rails, allowing the interior space to open up to the exterior space.
LUMIPOD‘s structure is positioned on 4 ‘light’ foundations. Depending on the type of soil different options are possible. We recommend screw piles as they minimize the impact on the installation site. Water and electricity connections are prepared prior to installation.
LUMIPOD‘s structure is made of steel to guarantee the level of rigidity required by the LUMICENE window. It consists of a frame placed on 4 foundation plots; a rear module integrating all the technical equipment and totally manufactured within the factory; a front module bolted on the rear module directly onsite. The curved exterior wall is wood frame and incorporates 20cm of rockwool, a protective rain sheeting on its outer face, and a moisture protection film on the interior layer. The roof and the floor are insulated with 8cm of polyurethane insulation panels and 15cm of rockwool.
Waterproofing is made using a Firestone EPDM membrane installed in the workshop. Water pipes are incorporated within the rear poles.
LUMIPOD is wrapped into a dark wood exterior cladding. But it offers an almost infinite choice of coverings to fit perfectly into its new decor.
LUMIPOD is equipped with a 5m diameter LUMICENE window made of curved glass. It consists of curved panels sliding on a circular rail.
The aluminum profiles are with thermal breaks and all RAL colors are available.
By default the LUMICENE window comes with a 6FE(20)6 (Ug 1.1 W / m2K) curved double glazing. Other options are available depending on weather conditions, including triple glazing 6FE(12)4(12)6.
The window is equipped with 2 locks at each end. LUMICENE is entirely manufactured by the Saint-Gobain Group in a factory based in Chambéry, France.
LUMIPOD has been designed as a luxury hotel room … in the middle of nature. The full height wall cabinetry between bedroom and bathroom is made of in Natural oak timber veneer with a mat finish. It includes a wardrobe positioned to the right of the bed. The bed is like suspended, and integrated in a shallow niche. A curved rod allows to accommodate blackout curtains in front of the entire glass surface. The ceiling is made of wool felt panels and the floor of light oak with mat varnish. Door handles and joinery pulls are coming in anodized sanded black finish.
The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, a basin, a shower.
Axor fittings come with a chrome steel finish by
default, but other finishes are possible.
The floors and walls are covered with ceramic mosaic tiles.
Heating and cooling
By default, a Mitsubishi reversible air conditioning system is used to manage both heating and cooling requirements. A disbursement in the roof accommodates the outdoor unit. Other options are available. LUMIPOD can for example be equipped with a wood burning stove if there are no cooling requirements in summer.
A CMV is positioned in the bathroom, and the water heater is integrated in the technical space in between wardrobe and toilets.
Water and electricity
In its current version, LUMIPOD has to be connected to electricity, water and wastewater networks.
Transport and installation
LUMIPOD has been designed to be compatible with both road and maritime transport. The installation is coordinated by our teams, sometimes relying on local companies depending on the installation site. A LUMIPOD is assembled within 2 to 3 days (except foundations and networks which will have been prepared upstream).
In addition to connecting people with nature, the LUMIPOD also tries to impact the landscape as little as possible. To this end, the unit is constructed from two modules resting on four piles of screws to minimize impact on site, and the exterior is clad in charred wood so as not to stand out in a natural setting.
Designed and currently manufactured in the French city of Lyon, the complete cabin can be assembled in 2 days and delivered anywhere in the world in less than 6 months.
The next challenge for the LUMICENE team is to design a completely “Off the Grid” version of the LUMIPOD exploring new technologies for the bathroom, which they hope to have ready by the end of 2020.

There is a stunning new luxury estate in Miami Beach. Designed by world renowned Italian designer Achille Salvagni, who is known for his awarded designs and architecture projects, and specializes in high-end residences, furniture, and yacht interiors, this luxury estate is the epitome of sophistication. The Italian designer has an unprecedented attention to detail and everything, from hard surfaces to furniture and furnishings, must be of the utmost quality. The ground level also has a formal dining room, a professional chef’s kitchen with Wolf and Subzero appliances, sculptural custom designed cabinetry, a magnificent bronze staircase and two-bedroom suites.
On the second floor there is a master suite which features a private deck, full bathroom and custom walk-in closets. There are also four more guest suites occupying this level.
The Italian designer combined clean, modern lines with pops of color, evoking the bold architecture that defined 1950s Miami. The furnishings and custom furniture were carefully chosen and there is a sensuality to the rooms, with their curvilinear features. Achille Salvagni is an incredibly experienced interior designer and architect with a true knowledge of craftsmanship, which is why he used many custom furnishings in this luxury estate. He also decorated the residence with a magnificent array of 20th-century European pieces by many artists such as Paolo Buffa, Stilnovo, Fontana Arte, Serge Mouille, Pierre Guariche, Angelo Lelli, and Marco Zanuso.

AirPods Max come in five gorgeous colors, including space gray, silver, sky blue, green, and pink, and are available to order starting today, with availability beginning Tuesday, December 15.

Custom Acoustic Design
From the canopy to the ear cushions, every part of AirPods Max is carefully crafted to provide exceptional acoustic performance for each user. The breathable knit mesh canopy, spanning the headband, is made to distribute weight and reduce on-head pressure. The stainless steel headband frame provides strength, flexibility, and comfort for a wide variety of head shapes and sizes. Telescoping headband arms smoothly extend and stay in place to maintain the desired fit.
Each ear cup attaches to the headband through a revolutionary mechanism that balances and distributes ear cup pressure, and allows it to independently pivot and rotate to fit the unique contours of a user’s head. Each ear cushion uses acoustically engineered memory foam to create an effective seal — a critical factor in delivering immersive sound. The Digital Crown, inspired by Apple Watch, offers precise volume control and the ability to play or pause audio, skip tracks, answer or end phone calls, and activate Siri.
Breakthrough Listening Experience
AirPods Max feature a 40-mm Apple-designed dynamic driver that provides rich, deep bass, accurate mid-ranges, and crisp, clean high-frequency extension so every note can be heard. A unique dual neodymium ring magnet motor allows AirPods Max to maintain total harmonic distortion of less than 1 percent across the entire audible range, even at maximum volume.1 Equipped with an Apple-designed H1 chip in each ear cup, a custom acoustic design, and advanced software, AirPods Max use computational audio to deliver the highest quality listening experience possible. Utilizing each of the chips’ 10 audio cores — capable of 9 billion operations per second — computational audio powers a breakthrough listening experience that includes Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, and spatial audio.
Adaptive EQ: AirPods Max use Adaptive EQ to adjust the sound to the fit and seal of the ear cushions by measuring the sound signal delivered to a user and adjusting the low and mid-frequencies in real time — bringing rich audio that captures every detail.
Active Noise Cancellation: AirPods Max deliver immersive sound through Active Noise Cancellation so users can focus on what they are listening to. Each ear cup features three outward-facing microphones to detect environmental noise, while one microphone inside the ear cup monitors the sound reaching the listener’s ear. Using computational audio, noise cancellation continuously adapts to the headphone fit and movement in real time.
Transparency Mode: With AirPods Max, users can switch to Transparency mode to simultaneously listen to music while hearing the environment around them — ensuring everything, including a user’s own voice, sounds natural while audio plays perfectly. Switching between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode can be done with a single press using the noise control button.
Spatial Audio: AirPods Max use spatial audio with dynamic head tracking to place sounds virtually anywhere in a space — delivering an immersive, theaterlike experience for content recorded in 5.1, 7.1, and Dolby Atmos. Using the gyroscope and accelerometer in AirPods Max and iPhone or iPad, spatial audio tracks the motion of a user’s head as well as the device, compares the motion data, then remaps the sound field so it stays anchored to the device, even as the user’s head moves.

Automatic switching allows users to seamlessly move sound between iPhone, iPad, and Mac. When playing music on Mac, users can easily take a call on iPhone and AirPods Max will automatically switch over.
Audio Sharing makes it possible to easily share an audio stream between two sets of AirPods on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV 4K. Simply bring AirPods Max near the device and connect with a single tap.3
Siri capabilities include the ability to play music, make phone calls, control the volume, get directions, and more. Siri can also read incoming messages as they arrive with Announce Messages with Siri.

AirPods Max are available to order starting today for $549 (US) from apple.com and in the Apple Store app in the US and more than 25 other countries and regions. AirPods Max will begin shipping on Tuesday, December 15.
AirPods Max require Apple devices running iOS 14.3 or later, iPadOS 14.3 or later, macOS Big Sur 11.1 or later, watchOS 7.2 or later, or tvOS 14.3 or later.
AirPods start at $159 (US) and AirPods Pro are available for $249 (US).

Al mando de un promontorio sobre Sunset Boulevard, Hillside es una propiedad de 20,000 pies cuadrados con 300 grados de vistas de la ciudad. Concebida como un oasis en el cielo, la casa está diseñada para funcionar como un complejo autónomo con salas de estar conectadas a amplias terrazas cubiertas al aire libre rodeadas por una piscina y rodeadas de exuberantes paisajes.
Ascendiendo desde Sunset Strip, la entrada es a través de un atrio con iluminación superior, que emerge en el centro del nivel de vida desde el cual finalmente se revelan las vistas incomparables.
